About Tr Cojoc,

Tr Cojoc was born in 1941, right in the middle of war, time and space. He was born in the beautiful town of Brasov in Romania, in the foothills of Carpatian Alps, inside Transilvania. Brasov was established around the year 1400 as a walled German outpost. The old name was Kronstad, meaning, town of the crown.  It was quite a prosperous town, even during the war. The largest ski resort in the country was just a hiking distance away.

By 1947 the communist government was in full control and the life around him started changing, although he was too young to understand it. He grew up in a well to do family, although not wealthy. His father was an engineer and a college professor.

By the time Tr Cojoc graduated high school, he was a national bicycle and ski champion. He decided to pursue his athletic career. A year later he was enrolled in the national bicycle team to prepare for the Tokyo summer Olympics. While training for the Olympics, the communist government denied him a passport for unknown reasons. That was the end of his athletic career. He went back to continue his education and became an electrical engineer. By now, the communist system of government ruined the country and made the people’s lives so miserable that he decided to escape. He immigrated to the USA in the spring of 1970, never to go back.

He became US citizen in 1976.

Tr Cojoc has assembled a series of personal stories about how destructive the communist system was. These are real life stories. He is also the author of  Socialism Is Deadly.

Presently, Tr Cojoc is retired in California and he is advising clients in financial matters, on how to preserve capital as well as high risk investment strategies such as trading foreign currency or FOREX.
